Default mail

I clicked on an address to our TV station to send email to them as it
instructed, when I did this it gave me this message "Could not perform this
operation because the default mail client is not properly installed." How
do I correct this. I have checked into the tools section and do not know
how to change the default mail client. Thank you for your advice.

Hi Leita,

Please try this -

Go into Control Panel, and choose Programs. You should now see an option
called Default Programs, and then Set Program Access and Computer Defaults.

In here, one of the categories will be selected, for example Microsoft
Windows, Non-Microsoft or Custom, which ever one is slected, expand it.

You should now see you can set the correct program to use as a default for
e-mail (Windows Mail is the one you probably want).

When you've done this, click OK, close Internet Explorer and re-open it
again. When you go to the website it should work for you.
