default mail

My wife recently set up a Yahoo email account and ever since this is the
account that my computer defaults to when sending mail on any link on web
pages or from excel or any program. How do I get vista to use my windows
mail as default?

You can change the default email program, but you may
get in trouble with your wife! Perhaps you two should each have
your own Windows user login so that each can have their own
default settings.

Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from
the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first option:
"Set your default programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on Windows Mail.
If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults" then fix it by
clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.
