Default layout

Is there a way to make a blank layout the default layout when inserting
a new slide?
Even when I remove all text boxes from the master, every time I insert a
new slide I have to select the blank content in the slide layout task
pane. (A bit of a pain!)
Here is hoping....

Hi Gus,

No. Except, sometimes if you are on a slide and go <Control + Enter> for a
new one, it will default to the one you are on currently.

You are right to say that it works only sometimes.
Shyam Pillai's add-in does the job, for which I am very grateful.
I'll keep your suggestion up my sleeve.
