Default language

My OS and Outlook default language is UK English but Outlook keeps switching
to US English. This is very annoying as some spellings are completely
different. Please can someone tell me how to stop this or can Microsoft
please sort it out!

Thank the Lord someone else has this annoying problem. Thought I was going
mad there. I have every concievable setting on my laptop to UK English, even
Outlook 2003 from the main page shows as UK English as does Word. But when
typing a message the spell check is in US English. Ok it's maybe not a huge
thing if you stay away from words like colour and the like, but annoying all
the same. Wonder if they'll fix it ?

Ditto, as a further addition i would appreciate it if English (US) was known
as American.

I can change the spellchecker in word to proper English, however it just
keeps on flipping back. Something I tried and actually rectified the problem
for a while (i seem to remember) in Word was doing 'Select All' and then
changing the spellchecker to good English. You do have to do it everytime
though... but worth a try.
