default homepage

A temporary user on my computer selected a visited page as
the default website on IE startup. I would like to change
it back to the original default, and am able to do so by
typing in the preferred website, but on startup, the
default is returns to the other site.

How might I go about deleting the website history from
defaults?

I have already deleted and reloaded the programme, but it
does not seem to help.

In Explorer go to Tools - Internet options - General, type in the address of
your homepage eg: http://www.thelettingcompany.com and press OK
