Default Font

How do I set the default font that I prefer for compose, reply, forward, etc?
It always comes up Gothic something or other, but I want to change it.

In Windows Mail, go to Tools/Options/Compose and in the Font window enter the
one you want. Click Apply and then Close.

Is stationery involved?
