Default Font properties on a report

I'm creating a report in design view. When I drop a text box, etc. onto the
report, the size and color are not right. I'd like to be able to control a
default size/color/font. How's that done?

You might want to try Allen Browne's article:

You can also set such a form or report as a default, by going into Tools >
Options | Form/Reports tab, and changing the Form and Report templates from
"Normal" to a named form and report.
