I'm running SBS 2000 w/ hosting our own exchange 2000 mail server. Clients
are runnig Outool 2000/2002. Is there a way to change the default file type
for saving messages to .msg (instead of the .txt default). This would save
me alot of time, if all our staff would save to the same file type.

thanks,
w

You can't change the default but when you drag & drop a message out of
Outlook into an Explorer window it will be saved as msg as well.

TO save a message as a type MSG file, just drag it to a folder.
