Hi!!

I have an annoying problem with this question whether IE should be the
default browser or not. It doesn't matter if I choose yes or no because
the next time I start IE the question is back.
If I uncheck the box "Internet Explorer should check whether it is the
default browser" the question appears once and then disappear.

This problem is on several computers in my company and people starts to
get evil :)
I don't want the question to come up even once on these computers.

Is the default browser value somewhere in the registry?

Is there a registry key that I can change for the default user hive?

Do you have another solution?
I've searched Google for an answer but haven't found any solution yet.

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm

Open Windows Explorer.
Go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Select 'open'.
Click Edit.

"Application used to perform this action" should read:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\iexplore.exe" -nohome
(Check the path to iexplore.exe to make sure that is correct and use the
double quotes.)

DDE should be checked and in the boxes below it you should have:

#1:
"%1",,-1,0,,,,
#2
IExplore
#3 (blank)

#4
WWW_OpenURL

URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy should be the same.

Sometimes it is necessary to uncheck Use DDE.
