Hi!

This might be a stupid question but I'm SO frustrated right now!

Excel uses a comma (",") as the default decimal point, how can I chang
this to a period (".")? My statistics package don't like commas yo
see...

Seems I've got no "international"-tab under "tools/options" - could i
be 'cause I'm using Excel 2000? If so, where do I change it?

Thanx 10^

Go to The tools menu
select options
Select the international tab
Uncheck the box that says use system seperators
then put a period in the box.

Perhaps in recent versions of Excel. For Excel 2000 and prior, the O
would need to change system settings through Windows' Control Panel'
Regional Settings applet

Correct, introduced in 2002 I believe, it only handles decimal and thousand
separators..
