decent math?

Does anybody know of a way to put math on slides in a decent way?

I know of MathType, but the layout it does is way inferior to the layout of
TeX/LaTeX (which I am used to).
I also know of Texpoint, but it has the disadvantage that when I convert my
slides to PDF, then the formulas look very "pixelish" (because with
Texpoint, formulas are basically bitmaps in the slide).

Is there any alternative that would both look good on the slide and in the
PDF file?

Thanks a lot in advance for any pointers or suggestions.
Gabriel.

EquationEditor/MathType (little brother/big brother) is about as good as it
gets in Windows.
