Debugging in Design time

I am writing a control and in the Task List I have an error:

Code generation for property 'Controls' failed. Error was: 'Object
reference not set to an instance of an object.'

This error does not seem to affect the program at runtime.

I can't find where this is occurring. Is it possible to debug during
design time?
