Hi all,

When on an XPH machine trying to access another XPHa
machine where ping works, and both computers are using
"user" rights, what is the debug procedure to fix
"you may not have access rights" etc. Both machines have
named accounts on them that match.

thanks,
charles....

Charles,

The old "... access denied ..." error can have a lot of causes. I have one
article that goes thru the possibilities. It links to other articles, for more
details.

But note that, even with matching named accounts on both computers, you're going
to use Guest for access. And you have Simple File Sharing too.
