Debug eVC4 dll called from C#

I have a C# CF app on a PPC2003 device that uses a eVC 4.0
dll. The C# application successfully references the dll
and is able to call a function.

The problem I am having is that I am unable to debug the
dll. I set the local and remote exe (in eVC settings) to
the C# app then hit F5. eVC launches the C# app on the
device, but gets stuck at "Waiting for debugee to start".

Even during this "wait", the device app is still able to
respond and access the eVC dll function.

I had eVC SP2 installed but removed it after checking a
few posts. That did not work. It still gets stuck.

Any suggestions how to get past this would be greatly
appreciated.

Saw that, couldn't get it to work, and i _know_ for a fact
I was able to do it without that just 6 months ago.

I failed to mention why it did not work for me.

I got a message saying there was a missing component. That
leads me to believe i do not have mscoree1_0.dll - which I
have been unable to locate.

Still, I know that I have done it befoer without the
launcher.

Anyone?
