Dealing with domain changes and profiles

Has anyone figured out a way to 'easily' deal with user profiles changing
when the domain they log into changes?

I have a customer that for some reason wants to change domain names a couple
of times a year, sometimes more. They heard from a friend of a friend of a
friend that had a friend that was a computer expert (see where this is
going) that said you have better security if you change your domain name
frequently. Try as I might to talk them out of this lunacy, I have been
unable. Consequently, I have to deal with the ever changing user profiles
everytime this happens.

Any suggestions?

I can't image what security benefit that would bring above changing
passwords frequently.

Anyway, there is a user state migration tool (USMT) available for download
from Microsoft which may help.

Job security I suppose.

Give them an itemized list of what goes into a domain name change and the
hours involved as long with system down time. Money talks.

I was asked to look at integrating the phone systems on all of our offices.
This would allow call transfer between offices among other things. I good
idea actually. Cost estimate was supplied and the subject has never
mentioned again.

Oh yea, something I forgot to mention... this 'security minded' organization
has the enitre C drive shared on each workstation and will not allow
passwords to be assigned. They also state they don't need antivirus
protection since they do not bring anything in from the outside and all
users are blocked from accessing the Internet. Nobody has email except the
VP, but I guess he is immune from infection based on his position.
