When the RAM is set up by SPD, it will usually be set at CL3. One must
manually set the voltage and latency to achieve a real performance
level. If you go to your RAM manufacturer's web site and then to their
forums, you will find the numbers to plug into your bios.
Disclaimer: the above advice does not apply to high end
RAM..........well maybe it does, Corsair for instance.
