One of our senior group has a problem getting onto the internet, she has a
dialup connection.
As soon as she goes online the connection icon in the system tray lights up
and there is a constant stream of data being uploaded. It is preventing all
connections to the mail servers and websites. She has run Ad-Aware and
Spybot but it is still there.
There is a program there called dd9.exe? I that is being caused by a Trojan
(maybe?), and I suspect that dd9.exe (dd might stand for direct dialler) has
something to do with it. My colleague who is helping her also tells me that
he thinks it is a DOS program.
I can find precious little about it on the net,
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
