DCPROMO with sp4

Case: a windows 2000 server with sp4 installed.
I promote this server with the automatically installation
of DNS.
Afther a reboot there are still no records in de dns
database Like _msdcs.

Without the sp4 it works fine.

What is the problem.

What is the problem.

The only thing we can do is make a guess that you have a single label domain
name (domain vs. domain.com) since you provided us with no other information
to make a diagnosis.
If you had posted an ipconfig /all, your domain name in ADUC, and any errors
in the event log we could make a better diagnosis.
