DCOM Errors When Connecting to DSL

BreezinBreezin

As soon as I connect manually to my DSL service I start
logging DCOM 1003 errors every couple of minutes
continuously in System Event viewer. Would appreciate if
some could tell me if this is a serious problem and/or
how to fix it please. I am running Windows Xp Home and I
have run the up to date Norton Antivirus 2004, Spybot and
Adaware 6 and they all come up clean every time. As far
as I know I have updated all critical MS updates. The
system and browser seem to run ok while these errors are
being logged. The system event viewer error detail for
the DCOM error is:

"Access Denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server using
Default Launch Permission. The server is:
{00020906-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}. The user is
Unavailable/Unavailable SID=Unavailable."

Any help appreciated. TIA!

.
Check in your services, in administrative tools, in the
control panel for the COM+ services by double click them,
and check what log-on they are set to use. And on my XP
home these are set to a manual type startup. Or search
the Microsoft knowledge base site for "DCOM"

Not that it helps, but I'm seeing the same thing as well:

Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server. The server is:
{00020906-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
The user is Unavailable/Unavailable, SID=Unavailable.
