DC1 and DC2 not replicating changes?

Hi there,

We have just installed a new DC2 in our local LAN,
this DC2 is also used for 2nd DNS backup... The DNS works
without a hitch. But since the inital install of the DC2
any change made to the Active Directory has not replicated
from DC1 to DC2.

So any users that have been created on the Active Dir
cannot be seen by DC2... Very odd.

Any ideas?

Try running repadmin /showreps on each DC to verify they are replication
partners with each other.

Also run dcdiag /v and netdiag /v to check for any obvious errors.

Tx for the help...

I have noticed that on the DC2 server that the tools
netdiag & dcdiag are not avalible on that server... I
wonder if this has all the correct files on it to be a DC
server. What could cause that... We went through the proper
install techniques etc... installed and DCPROMO things
seemed good...

Any ideas?

Are they in the same domain?

Are they registered with the same DNS Server?

.... a little more info might be helpful.
