DC server purchase justification

Hi,
Sorry if the is the worng group for this posting. I am trying to convince
my organization that we should purchase two blade servers and transfer the
DC function on to them. And that should be there only function. At the
prensent I have two DC. However, both of them are running other app, for
example, one is also an Exchange 2003 server, the other is runnign SQL, and
is hosting our network drives. I am looking for some articles that state
that DC should be seperate servers? I have googled, but have not found
anything too concrete. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would reconsider placing the 2 new DCs on blades. If something happens to
the enclosure then you just lost your DCs.
 
My bad, I was thinking of a different issue, I meant 1U servers such as a
Compaq DL 360.
