DBF file help

I have a DBF file that I need to access with either Access (2000) or Excel
(2007).

None of the supplied data source drivers work including the dBase IV. The
index file is a .MDX format.

I now have access to the native program (that produced the .DBF file) but
there isn't any type of export feature.

Any quru help would be much appreiciated!!

What error message do you get?

How are you trying to access the dbf file?

Hi Dan - sorry for the delay in responding. the error msg is "External table
is not in expected format".

I've tried every supplied ODBC and none work
