DB sharing between PPC and standard PC

Hi, where could I find information about tips and tricks regarding a shared
database between a PPC application and his "big brother" windows
application. The architecture would be very ussual, inputing data in the PPC
and exporting that data to the big PC via activesync or any other way for
further analysis.
