Days Elapsed Formulas

I am looking for a formula that will add the numbers of
days between dates. Such as:

Survey Ordered Survey Received Days Elapsed
5/2/04 5/25/04 ?
6/5/04 8/5/04 ?


Please help!!!!

Dates are simply integer offsets from a base date so you can use regular
math functions:

A1: 5/2/04
A2: 5/25/04
A3: =A2 - A1 ===> 23, when formatted as General

In a third cell just take the second date from the first and set the cell
format to General. The results will show as 23 and 2 respectively.
