Daylight- saving time bumped up by 3 weeks.

I read that there are concerns for many computers and other digital devices
that wont recognize the time change because they were programmed before 2005.
March 11 is the new daylight-savings change. Is Mircosoft going to alert
customers or have them install software updates to avoid disruptions?
