Day of week disappeared from Week View

Outlook 2003:

Recently I noticed that the day of the week is not showing on the week view
- only the date appears. I'm sure each day used to show up like this:

Friday 9/26

Now it just shows 9/26.

I don't recall changing anything or installing any updates (unless an
automatic update installed itself). I can't find any setting or preference
setting that controls this.

Thank you,

Did you change the long date format in Windows, Control panel, regional
settings? That is where the date format comes from.

That worked! I can't imagine how it got changed in the first place, but it's
displaying correctly now.

Thanks,

Ernie

Well, it worked for awhile... This morning I noticed that it reverted back to
the other way, "10/1". Is there something in my computer that is overriding
the regional and language options I'm setting?

Thanks,

Ernie

I work from home. The only "outside" hardware/software is my Windows Mobile
sync.

It sure sounds like something is changing it. Are you on a computer at
work?

windows mobile wouldn't change the date format of windows. Maybe check in
windows forums to see if there is anything that would do it.
