When you leave the mouse arrow over the time on the taskbar it shows the
date.

However in my 98SE it shows the date and the day.

Is it possible to see the day also in XP?

Thanks

It's displaying the "Long date format" when you hover the mouse over
the clock. So, open the Control Panel, and start the "Regional and
Language Options" applet. The "Regional Options" tab will show you
what your date format options currently are. To change them click
"Customize", and use the "Date" tab on the resulting window.

For example, my long date format is "dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy". That
translates into a display like "Thursday, January 08, 2004".
