David: multi_av source code?

Hi David,

Is the multi_av.exe source code available for peer review? Or as a
zip file?

What you offer there seems excellent and extremely useful, but as I've
never heard of it outside of this newsgroup (and your EXTREMELY helpful
responses), naturally a security minded individual's thoughts will turn
to trust, looking for assurance that hte fix isn't rogue malware
itself, etc.

I'd love to jump on the bandwagon and recommend your tool, but ya
know..the whole due diligence thing against social engineering, etc.

Best Regards,

Hi Todd:

Its interpreted code. It is written using the KiXtart Script Interpreter which is CareWare.
http://KixTart.Org

Download any of the utilities and examine the .KIX files.

| sounds reasonable. How does one get to yer .KIX files w/o using the
| .exe self extracting executable though?
|
| Best Regards,

Drag and Drop the EXE file on a program such as WinZIP or IZArc.
