Hi Gary,
There can be various reasons why you may not see a reply.
-- server maintenance
-- Outlook Express messes up
-- bad server on a server farm so it's the luck of which server you got
kind of like dialing into a bad modem.

If you don't get an answer say after 24 hours (it takes 12 hours to get
to Google Groups) you might try searching Google. But if you don't
see it there it still might not be long enough. This is usually for someone
who say I posted this weeks ago and never got an answer -- it would be
best the make sure it was not really answered.
For most people they would simply put their email address into
the author field. You posted anonymously so you will have to
look at your sent messages and pull out specific words to search.
Or maybe search on Dave Peterson's email since you know he was
in the thread.

If this is the thread -- Dave's answer is not in Google Groups yet
http://groups.google.com/[email protected]

You can try this url in your browser, it is Dave's last answer and it is rather long:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/[email protected]

If you had kept to the same thread, and without changing the subject
you would make it a lot easier for everyone.

If you posted with real email address someone might have emailed
you the posting in case you hadn't seen it. This anonymous email
suggestions is crap and is contrary to Usenet usage. But in today's
environment you will have to take precautions .
