dates with conditional format

I would like to have a series of calendar dates on my report,
each is stored in a separate textbox.
I would like the color of the text to change to white if the
date has not been reached yet.

I was thinking something along the lines of a conditional
format.

Conditional Formatting will do this for you. Just set the condition for
Field Value Is - greater than - Date()

Rob:

How would I do this to compare against today's date, without typing
it,
so it would automatically know?

Is there a built in command for this?

What I posted does exactly that. The Date() function (built-in to Access)
returns the date set in the Windows System Date setting; unless you've got
that set incorrectly, it returns the current date.
