Dates prior to 1900

Is there any way to have Excel acknowledge dates prior to
1900?
I have a customer that wants to use early birthdates prior
to 1900.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

John Walkenbach did an add-in that may help you with old dates. I haven't
used it so FWIW:
