You can select the birthdate textbox in the design view of the form.
Then select 'Conditional Formatting' from the Format menu. Make a
condition with "Expression Is", and type equivalent to this...
Format([birthdate],"yyyymm")=Format(Date(),"yyyymm")
and use the color tool to set the red font.
