Dates in an Excel97 Chart

I have a range of dates that do not include the weekends
or holidays in my spreadsheet. However, the chart shows
those dates in the Axis (Category Axis as per attorney
request). Does anyone know how I can just get the actual
dates from the spreadsheet into the chart?

To prevent the weekend dates from appearing on the axis, change it from
a time scale to a category axis:

1. Select the chart
2. Choose Chart>Chart Options
3. On the Axes tab, under Primary axis, choose Category
4. Click OK
