Hi,

Right click on the taskbar and choose Unlock the taskbar from the drop down list menu.

then place the cursor on the top of the taskbar untill it changes to a two headed arrow and then pull it till it is 2 rows high.
then u will see the date as well as day as time.

Right click on the taskbar to lock it again.
