Recently I had to start my XP system in safe mode.

When I restarted in normal mode, my taskbar (the one at the bottom of the
screen) is grey instead of the original blue. and now it shows the time and
day of the week, but not the date.

Any idea how to get it to also display the date as well as the time and day?

Thanks a lot

Hi Wizard

This is a problem with your desktop settings which is being changed so
wat you can do is.

You can go to the control panel and open the icon which says desktop
and then you can try to the Tab which says Themes.

In this themes the Theme should be windows xp. I hope you would be
having windows xp (Modified). When you change it Click on Apply and
click on Ok. You will be able to work with you tool bar.

If this works plz send an e-mail to my e-mail:

Thanks and Regards

There is no setting there that allows you to set the time/date
display...

You will need an external little tool for that...
Google around...

Hi wizard

There is a way to get the date and time back and in order to do that.

You need to right click on the taskbar and you have to click on
properties. You will be having an option Under the Taskbar Tab which
says show the clock.

When it is checked you will be able to see the clock on the desktop.
