Date settings

My date settings on excel and other programmes come out in
mmddyyy format when I enter them as ddmmyyy format. I have
changed regional settings to ddmmyyy but dont seem to work.
Any ideas?
 
You can change the cell settings on Excel to display whatever format you
want. Try cell format.
