Date Range in Report Header

I have succeeded in putting an unbound text box in the header of my report
that refers to date range criteria of the query that supports this report.
This is what I included in the textbox: =" For the period of " & [Enter start
date using format mm/dd/yyyy] & " And " & DateAdd("d",1,[Enter end date using
format mm/dd/yyyy]). Somewhere along the line, I discovered that data for
the report was not pulling for the final date and was advised to add portions
to the criteria and I now I am not sure what part that is. No matter, the
report still needs to reflect the final date but with the above language the
header displays thus:
For the period of August 1, 2007 to August 9, 2007 when in actuality I
entered 8/01 to 8/08 and my fear is that even though the data is correct the
header as such will lead the user to think that one extra day is added in.
Can you assist? Thanks!

Adding [Enter ...] as part of the ControlSource property of the control will
NOT connect back to the query. It will throw up a prompt for input to be
used only in the report.

If you want to use data from your report's underlying query, refer to those
fields.
