Date Problem

Not sure if this should be here or in the reports section.

This is what i have Staff members enter there contact they have with members
into a form (date is format as 99/99/0000;0;_). I have another form called
reports which has a combo box on it and a start date and end date box. When
you click on the command button it loads the report depending upon the
criteria you have selected out of those boxes.

My problem is that when i enter the date 01/02/06 (1st Feb 2006) im from
australia. the computer picks it up as the 2nd Jan 2006. and therefore
showing me the from information.

How can i fix this problem. As we cant rely on this report with the
incorrect information.

If you need more information just ask.

Thanks in advance

Regardless of what your Short Date format has been set to through Regional
Settings, Access is going to assume mm/dd/yyyy in most cases.

You should read Allen Browne's "International Dates in Access" at
http://allenbrowne.com/ser-36.html
or what I have in my September 2003 Access Answers column for Pinnacle
Publication's "Smart Access" newsletter. (The column and accompanying
database can be downloaded at
