Date problem

I wonder if anyone know what is causing the date to change
from dd/mm/yyyy format to mm/dd/yyyy format enen the format
is set to dd\/mm\/yyyy in design. Every time I enter
12/02/2004 (dd/mm/yyyy), the date keep change to 02/12/2004.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I did check before I post the message. All user using the
database is set to mm/dd/yyyy in the time/date region of
the windows with no problem with an exception of one user's
computer. I still don't know what is causing the date to
flip back. If the user enter 18/02/2004 it is Ok; But if
the user enter 12/02/2004 then the date flip to 02/12/2004
even the format is set to dd/mm/yyyy.

When you say the date flips back, do you mean it does so in Control Panel |
Date & Time, or in tables, or forms?
