Date highlighting

I am trying to figure out how to format a cell when I want to do the
following: I have a date for example, 29 jun 2008, I need to have a cell
highlight when this date is within 180 days from today.
 
Use conditional formatting, with the formula <=TODAY()+180

In other words, if the date 29 June 2008 is in A1, then apply conditional
formatting to that cell, use the formula above, and select the formatting
that should appear when the above formula returns TRUE (i.e., TODAY's date is
within 180 days of 29 June 2008).
 
Thank you very much. I found what I was looking for. The formula that I
entered into the conditional formatting block was: =(C1<=TODAY()+180) Then I
selected the highlight color I wanted. Again thanks.
