Through Control Panel - Regional and Language Options, I have my Short date format set to yyyy-MM-dd.
When I try setting the Received date format, I don't see any options for a yyyy-MM-dd format (with or without time).

On my home machine, with Windows 2000, and Office 2000, I have this date option available.

Same problem with the Calendar function, as I can't set a yyyy-MM-dd date format.

How can I make this date format available.

Thanks.

There are only two date formats stored in your regional setttings -- long and short. Outlook uses the short date for both sent and received dates and the long date for some calendar displays.

You are not restricted to the choices that display on your system -- just type the format you want exactly a it appears on your other machine.
