Date Format Behavior

In an Excel 2000 workbook, when the date "5/13/05" is entered in a cell, upon
leaving the cell the date changes to "5/13/2004."

The computer date is set to the correct year. The Excel Date format is set
for the appropriate format.

Any ideas on what can cause this strange behavior?

Thanks,
Craig.

Do you have any event macros running?

What do you see in the cell when you format it as General?
