Date Filter

I have sales data for '05, listed by Customer in random order. Severa
customers have entries for '04 as well. I can sort by customer to mak
the list alphabetical. How do I filter the list to eliminate the '0
data

What are the formats of the 05 and 04, are they real dates like

01/01/05 etc?

You can use either data>filter>autofilter and use custom and greater than
12/31/04

then select the list, press F5, special and visible cells and copy somewhere
else if you need a list without the 2004 dates or you can do that in one
fell swoop using data>filter>advanced filter, then create the criteria, in
let's say H1 type the name of the header and in H2 type >12/31/04

Select the whole list with headers and all, do data>filter>advanced filter,
copy to another location (click in a cell where you want the list, in the
criteria range select H1:H2 with the mouse and click OK
