i have a value in a tbl -

2006022410503300

how do i convert this to a day of the week ?
 
try

Format(DateSerial(Left("2006022410503300", 4), Mid("2006022410503300", 5,
2), Mid("2006022410503300", 7, 2)), "dddd")

There's probably a cleaner solution plus I made some assumption on the data.

Format(CDate(Left("2006022410503300",4)& "/" & Mid("2006022410503300",5,2)&
"/" & Mid("2006022410503300",7,2)),"DDDD")
