Date display in taskbar with time?

Is there a way to display the current date in the taskbar
next to the clock? It would be nice if this option was
available from the Taskbar context menus or on the change
date/time window.

Unlock the taskbar and make it twice as big then the date and day will show

You should be able to see the date by hovering your mouse pointer in
the general vicinity of the clock.

There is a program called tclock.exe . Try www.google.com
for it as I dont remember where it came from, but gives you
options as to what you want displayed.
