Date Changes

I have a 'shared' file that shows the dates in the year 2005. When I copy the
file, the dates change to 2001. What is causing the change?

The actual date value is the same in both sheets, for example 37139. How is
it presenting different years for the same number?
 
Sounds like one of the PCs is using the 1904 date system.

Check Tools>Options>Calculation and check the 1904 date system box.
