Date change in To Do Bar

Edward

2 questions: Is it possible to show the due date without widening the to do
bar to over three calendars in the NAv pane? Questions 2: (After Question 1
is answered...)Is it possible to change the Due Date for a task in the To Do
Bar through a drop menu?

You can customize the tasks view and show the fields you want. If you have
in-cell editing enabled you can change the due date. Right click on the row
of field names and choose Customize to make changes.

Thanks Diane. I've done that and thing look perfect. ICE has been enabled.
Currently, the bar is about calendar wide in Date Navigator. The columns
selected for the To Do Bar are Priority, Subject, Due Date, Categories and
Complete. If I widen it (the To Do Bar) to three calendars the Due Date
column becomes visible and I have the drop down menu to change the date.
When I collapse the column ot one calendar width, the Due Date column is no
longer visible. The settings are mirrored in the To Do List. I merely
wanted to be able to change the date from a drop down menu without widening
the To Do Bar to do so.

You could try rearranging the field order and lose a different field when
you make the To Do part narrower. Also change the format of the Due Date
field to the smallest style eg not Thursday, 17 November 2008., but 17/11/08

Change the order of the fields so the ones you want to change are in the
view or remove the ones you don't need. (I use just the subject and due
date in my view).
