Date Auto-Correction

When I type '1-5' as a football scoreline, it chnages it to 01-May, I do not
want this to happen, how do I turn off this auto-correction so it never
happens again?
 
You can't change the input parser's behavior, but you can bypass it by
either (a) prefixing the entry with an apostrophie ('), or (b)
preformatting the cell as Text so that it isn't parsed.
 
Type an apostrophe and then the score('1-5) or format the cells to text
