Date and Time

Hi,
I've got a Dell Inspiron 9300 with MS Windows Professional 2002 SP2
installed on it.

When I go to Date and Time to change the time, I can change the hour, minute
and second, but the AM/PM field doesn't display in the Date and Time window
correctly, and when I try to change AM to PM, it doesn't change. However, if
the current time is PM, it will change it to AM...so it's like the Date and
Time window always changes it to AM. By not displaying properly, I mean
instead of seeing only 1 value, either AM or PM, and that value changing when
I click the up or down arrow, I see AM listed in its field and PM listed
directly below it. When I click the up or down arrow, it just moves the
highlighting from AM to PM, but AM remains in its field, and clicking Apply
doesn't change the time to PM, even if that is what I've highlighted and
applied.

This appears to be a bug in the Date and Time Window, but I can't find
anything on it in Microsoft's Knowledge Base.

Can anyone help me fix this probelm?

try this!

Start>Run>timedate.cpl
does this work?

Start>Run>c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386\timedate.cpl
Does this work?

File possibly corrupt. Replace with backup.
