Date and Time on taskbar

Does anyone know how to display both the date and time in
the taskbar? The default is to show only the time, and it
will show the date if you pass the pointer over the time,
but I cannot find how to configure to show the date always.
 
This option does not exist. There may be a third party application that
will display the date, but it is not an option in Windows *.

If you install Webshots for a screensaver the Background has a Calender and
Time display on your desktop.
